A force for beautifying and bettering our communities through natural landscape architectural design, Jamie has been the catalyst for many successful projects throughout Charleston and beyond. She focuses on creating a fruitful experience for users, whether that’s working with community schools like Meeting Street Academy at Brentwood, or designing streetscapes that revitalize communities such as US 17 in Pawleys Island and Clements Ferry Road.
A certified arborist, she has worked on several highly visible projects in New York City. She provided consultation services for the Westside Highway in Manhattan and consulted during cleanup in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. She recently completed the Urban Forestry Management Plan for DeKalb County, Georgia’s third largest county.
Jamie is also an inspiration for her local community. She is a founding member of Stantec’s ‘We Care’ initiative, a team dedicated to supporting local charities. She organizes a Meals on Wheels delivery team and helped her nephew raise $500,000 for Water Mission, a cross-country bike ride to raise awareness for people without clean water.
